Agreement with the purpose of God!

What an hour we live in! It almost seems like every day a new issue or event comes to the surface in our society that points toward the end of the age as God has proclaimed in His word. This is truly the greatest hour for the Church to be leaning into and proclaiming the narrative of our Father in Heaven and the glorious purpose He has designed and we have been invited into.

The Church is exploding around the world, primarily in the Muslim nations as the Church is gathering day by day in the place of prayer and agreement with God. Twenty years ago it is said that globally there were maybe ten 24/7 housed of prayer in the earth. Today there are well over ten-thousand 24/7 houses of prayer, crying out for the purpose of God, with tens of thousands of other prayer gatherings throughout the earth. Multiple missionary groups from around the world, like YWAM, are clearly seeing the impact the prayer movement is having in their work in proclaiming the gospel. The Church is being built from beneath the grip of unrighteous, evil governments and their intentions to overpower the truth of God's purpose and ultimate intention.

In the swirl of all that our Father in heaven is doing to bring about His end time plan, we all have our unique piece in the puzzle. How important it is in this day to be hearing the voice of the Lord! Being set with confidence in the ability for Holy Spirit to give us the right answer and the exact right time and the confidence to step out in obedience is empowering our faith. He who has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Church.

To move not by the seduction of the age we live in but by the prevailing heart of our Father in heaven is our portion to enter and live in. Dan.7:18 ...the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever. Rom. 8:17 ...And if we are His children, then we are His heirs also; heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, sharing His inheritance with Him, only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.

We are truly in the hour of the bride's anticipation of the coming of the Bridegroom. So many distractions to lay aside and follow the deep abiding love of our King. He is clearly moving among His people in unique ways to capture our attentions and prepare our hearts for His return.

As I minister to our university students, I am confident through a recent encounter I had with the Lord, that God is bringing clarity to our understanding of His end time plan and how it will play out practically in our lives. How will a twenty something young man navigate the challenges of these compromising days? God has given us the gift of the matchless Holy Spirit to make the cloudy waters sparkling clean and clean at just the right time. Our burden, if we want to call it that, is to lean into the matchless beauty of the Lord through faith. His perfect leadership and unequaled ability to have it come to pass will be our confidence. We know the story line. I believe it is much more glorious than we imagine and think! We have such an amazing life to flourish and prevail in. My prayer is that we hear His voice and have great confidence to follow His leading!
