A Glorious Hour

This day Katie and I have a tender heart yet are full of joy at the home-going of Katie's Mother. (1/12/2022). All three daughters with their husbands were with her at her passing along with her husband of 15 years, Marshal. She had been struggling with the affects of Parkinson disease for over 20 years and was not in a good place toward the end of her days in her weak and broken body. She will always be remembered as a mother and grandmother that was so full of love for her family and friends. She loved our beloved Jesus to the end of her physical life and I am confident she is glorying in the newness of her eternal life with Him, free from the sickness and pain of this life!

I am growing more and more in the the amazing reality of the home our Lord has built for us. I had a resent encounter with the Holy Spirit where I heard Him say: "I am beefing up the cloud of witnesses before My throne for this hour we are entering"(Heb 12:1). I believe this is a strategic hour we are in where our Father in heaven is placing all the parts of His body in the exact place they need to be for this hour we are entering. Whether in our current physical state or in heaven before His throne, we are all a part of His body preparing for the days before us that promise to be both great and terrible. Whatever state we find ourselves in we are all a part of His body that is being lead by the God of all creation. This is a glorious day to be alive both here and in heaven as the earth prepares for the return of the King!

Our Faithful Father in heaven in His "Ultimate Intention" is building His church, as a family. His purpose and plan has been always this very thing. We are a part of an eternal family that has always been on His heart and in His plan. Even now we can see the glorious prophetic promises coming to pass that are pointing to this glorious reality.

I think of the promise of Malachi 4:6; The hearts, the core and conscience life within us, is being turned. Both fathers to sons and sons to fathers. The Father of us all is bridging the gap between the generations, and drawing us to Himself. Fathers are seeing and embracing the value of the generation God is raising today. This is a generation with more opportunity to walk in compromise than any other generation. They have strength and zeal to lean into "Truth" in a way that is empowering the church in amazing ways. These sons are also embracing the value of the older generation that have a little less strength but have history coupled with faith that is helping build the foundation within their lives to help direct their assignments and callings. In between these fathers and sons is a generation of leaders that are stepping up to pull from both ends of life to lead and draw the body into the family God has purposed in His un-shifting design and intention.

This is the hour for all who call on the name of the Lord to step into the assignment God has designed them for in this time of history. No part is too small! This is a day to be transformed by the renewing of our minds and not give into the transformation that this world is so deeply griping the culture with (Rom. 12). The wrestle of men's ideas that are so often founded in the carnal desire of the moment are playing into the instability that the "Accuser" has been building in the lives of men for generations. (Rev. 12:9-10; Zec. 3:1-2).

The day is truly coming, burning like an oven where all the proud and wicked will be stubble, but to those who fear the name of the Lord our God, the Sun of Righteousness will arise and bring life (Malachi 4). The answer is beyond the wisdom of man. Our faith and trust in the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob will direct us all within our minds, wills and emotions to the very conscience of who we are. I believe there will be supernatural encounters of our God in the days ahead for those that are listening and trusting in His leadership. Today is the day to grow in the first commandment becoming first in our lives. We will have as His body a foundation of security and an internal stability not in what our eyes see but in the faith set in our born again spirit.

Let us be of the generation that fully sets its trust in God. Let us not forget His works and keep His commandments. Could we carry the message of our lives into a world that has no grid of understanding. They will know us by our love! Are we loving well? His love transcends every idea of man that attempts to define what is right and true. There is no other answer that meets the longing of our hearts that we where created with and for.

I am asking the Holy Spirit to give us renewed vision for this life in that it is just a part of our journey. As those who have gone on before us fully know now, could we not settle in life today with less than what we see in our eternal inheritance. We have it made! He told us that He went to build us a home. I believe we can live today with a growing expectation of what that will be like.

Encourage and comfort one another with this; We believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus! We who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and thus we shall always through eternity be with the Lord (1 Thes.4).
